On 1991, Birmingham Industries Philippines Incorporated opened its first office warehouse at N. Domingo, San Juan, Metro Manila.

Entering the wholesale business, Birmingham initially imported various construction product lines. Imported goods included lock sets, waterproofing membranes, sanitary wares, glass blocks, multicolored paint, wood preservatives, polyurethane floor varnish, roof shingles, natural stones, European tiles, bathroom accessories, bathroom and kitchen mixers, and much more.

In the face of the Asian Crisis during 1997, the company, with a personalized and flexible touch, stepped up to the challenge by specializing on certain products namely sanitary wares, bathroom accessories, bathroom and kitchen mixers, and waterproofing membranes. On top of that, Birmingham introduced two new lines: PPRC and Composite water piping system. Moreover, during this period, Birmingham assigned distributors in Cebu to cater to customers from Visayas.

At present, to complement the existing lines, Birmingham is importing anti-odor and anti-insect floor drains, and chair mats.
